I would love to go but I cant quite justify the trip across the Atlantic for a concert. Sounds like it would be lots of fun and I always enjoy DC generally. Hope you all have fun. Give John a big hug for me.

I just posted under the Shows section about ZepFest being cancelled. I was SO looking forward to going. I was meeting a friend from Atlanta in D.C. for that weekend. I looked up all the bands and was trying to work out a schedule for when to see who. I'm so bummed! Just crushed. I guess they outpriced the thing, but they had just dropped the price to $165 last week. My friend had booked the hotel. I can only try to express my disappointment in them cancelling. The Yardbirds, Vanilla Fudge, Zoso, Honeyboy, Zebra, Run Devil Run, The Horse.....sigh. I should have known it was too good to be true. Is this a bad dream?

I am so sorry that this has happened.
I know Zoso was so going to rise to the top of the stage and kick some major ass.
I just hope the band gets compensated somehow. Especially Memorial Day weekend for goodness sakes! That's when Zoso always opens Rockin on the River!
I hope this doesn't stop someone else from having a Zeppelin gathering soon.
The ppl in charge of this should be ashamed for messing with the Led heads.

Thats terrible news even if I wasnt going to be able to attend. Im sure the guys were looking forward to it and also theres the issue of suddenly being out three days work.
Thought the price was a bit high but I just figured that it had been so long since Ive lived in civilization in the big island of America that I was just out of touch with concert prices.
